Pathway Highlights
UAS students gain valuable real-world experiences by participating in hands-on activities and learning to fly drones for recreational purposes during the FAA Part 107 training. Once certified, students learn to fly drones professionally by engaging in very intense classroom activities and projects.

Course Requirements
Over the period of one school year (on a trimester basis), students will complete three rigorous courses:
- Fundamentals of Aerospace
- Flight Operations I
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Certifications
Students enrolled in the UAS pathway have the opportunity to take the FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certification and become a certified Drone Pilot.
- FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certification
- TRUST Certificate
- Student Pilot Certificate
- National Weather Service SKYWARN Storm Spotter Certificate
