Course Requirements
Over the period of one school year (on a trimester basis), students will complete three rigorous courses:
- Examining the Teaching Profession
- Contemporary Issues in Education
- Teaching as a Profession (Practicum)
Certifications
Students enrolled in EAP pathway have the opportunity to earn University System of Georgia college credits through articulation, as well as CPR Certification.
Students can earn 3 College Credits from University System of Georgia Institutions Offering EDUC 2110 with successful completion of the following:
- Passing the following three Education as a Profession Pathway courses with a "C" or better (13.01100-Examining the Teaching Profession; 13.01200-Contemporary Issues in Education; and 13.01300-Teaching as a Profession Practicum
- Completion of a portfolio as part of the pathway's course requirements
- Passing of the approved statewide End of Pathway Assessment
